Small Steps I Took to Stop Binge Eating

I don't blame you for wanting to stop the tiring cycle of binge eating and restriction. For me, it only led to increased body dysmorphia, toxic food thoughts, and excessive cravings. However, there were 3 major steps I took to end this routine.



Binge eating affects many, whether it's those listening to diet culture, entering their fitness journeys, or struggling to find stabilization in their mental health. Binge eating became a common resort for me to deal with boredom, stress, loneliness, etc. However, once I figured out what other passions I wanted to devote my mind to, as well as once I decided I no longer wanted to restrict myself from my favorite foods, binge eating slowly declined. Today, I eat whatever foods I crave, without guilt, while also balancing those foods with nourishing meals.
